About Me

I'm currently pursuing a Master of Science in Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University and doing research with Prof. Jun-Yan Zhu in the Generative Intelligence Lab. I received my Bachelor of Science from Columbia University, where I majored in Computer Science and minored in Applied Mathematics.

My main research interest is in computer vision, especially with respect to synthetic data generation, representation learning, and scene understanding. My objective is to research and develop robust computer vision systems that can work in the real world to assist humans by intelligently interpreting their surroundings and learning meaningful, informative visual representations.

To this end, I’ve explored different research areas and built a broad foundation of knowledge in intelligent perception. Since Jun. 2020, I have been working on the University of Chicago's DeepScribe computer vision project for automatically transcribing photos of cuneiform tablets with Prof. Sanjay Krishnan. In Jan. 2021, I joined the Columbia University Digital Video and Multimedia Lab and worked on grounded video event extraction with Prof. Shih-Fu Chang. In Jun. 2021, I researched "Concept Whitening for Transfer of Concepts in Imitation Learning" at the Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Institute Summer Scholars Program (CMU RISS) with Prof. Katia Sycara. In Jun. 2022, I researched "Mixed Reality Synthetic Data Generation" at the CMU RISS program with Prof. Srinivasa Narasimhan.
